Green Mountain Neighbors (GMN) is a social network made up of people from the Vermont towns of:
Mt. Holly
Shrewsbury
Wallingford
We provide our members with the support and non-medical services they need to stay in their homes while getting older. We help our members remain active, socially connected, and independent for as long as possible by linking volunteers to neighbors who need services and providing a gateway to information about existing social, recreational, and support services in the area.

GMN is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization associated with the Village-to-Village Network, a national network of "villages" across the country. The network provides us with many ideas on how we can help our neighbors and ourselves to "age in place."
Green Mountain Neighbors was incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in 2023, and we hope to begin providing service in early 2024.
Each of the towns that make up Green Mountain Neighbors has its own town representative.
Please feel free to reach out to them with any questions that you might have about our organization.
