At Green Mountain Neighbors (GMN), our aim is to help older adults in Mount Holly, Shrewsbury and Wallingford remain in their homes and stay connected to their communities.
We realize that there are many tasks that members could use assistance with which range from relatively simple things like changing a smoke detector battery -- to more involved needs like grocery shopping or getting to a doctor appointment.
Some services we offer are:
- Wellness calls
- Local transportation for appointments and errands
- Grocery pickup
Based on our feedback, we know how important keeping you connected to your community is!
What we also offer are:
- Social events
- Educational sessions
- Community interaction
And this is only the beginning...
Since we are a volunteer-based organization, our service offerings are based on the availability and skills of our volunteer groups so our services will expand as we grow.
