VOLUNTEERS
Green Mountain Neighbors welcomes volunteers to help in our mission of assisting seniors to remain independent and have the ability to stay in their homes and communities. You are a crucial and valued part of our organization, and we want to ensure that you have a pleasant and rewarding experience.
Opportunities to participate include:
- Transportation to local appointments and events
- Simple home maintenance tasks
- Wellness calls
- Grocery and pharmacy pickup/delivery
- In the future we also hope to provide pet help, tech assistance, caregiver respite and small gardening tasks.
We can provide resource information for care/support beyond our capabilities.
Volunteers can also help the GMN organization itself by coordinating events, leading/planning interest groups, and fund raising. Please consider sharing your talents and time with GMN.
